Located in the Sammy Ofer Wing of the National Maritime Museum, the Parkside Café and Terrace is a bright and airy space across two floors with expansive views of Greenwich Royal Park. There is plenty of seating, both indoor and outdoor, making it a perfect destination for a relaxing breakfast or lunch.

Why not try our bookable Royal Afternoon Tea? A British tradition served overlooking Greenwich Royal Park. Our sumptuous afternoon tea menu is available here.

The BBQ is fired up on the upstairs terrace during the warmer months and it’s a great place to look out over the park.

The Great Map Café

Open: 10am–5.00pm daily.

Located on the first floor of the National Maritime Museum, this open-plan café sits alongside the Great Map, our giant world atlas. Relax with a cup of award-winning Benugo coffee while the little ones explore the continents. Classic British sandwiches and a variety of freshly-made cakes provide delicious sustenance. Or order a beautifully designed children’s lunchbox or Cream Tea, each for just £5.

The Cutty Sark Café is located on the lower ground deck of the boat. We serve deli combination sandwiches with classic British ingredients, cakes made fresh for you daily, cream teas, assorted snacks and children’s dishes, with many healthy options. Please note that entry to this café is for Cutty Sark ticket-holders only. 

Fancy indulging in the full Cutty Sark afternoon tea experience? Book in advance for the full monty: finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam and a selection of mini cakes. Located in the Astronomy Centre at the Royal Observatory, the Astronomy Café & Terrace is a relaxed spot in which to enjoy a light lunch (a warming soup, say, or a seasonal salad) before strolling through Greenwich Park. The café’s outdoor terrace is a coveted spot on sunny days. The Astronomy Café & Terrace is open to all, not just museum visitors.
